I saw this on another Hybrid board.

Since this seems to be a little publicized program I thought I'd let those of you that were as clueless as I was, that the program existed. It is open to all fuel efficient Hybrids purchased. Sorry your Escalade Hybrid doesn't qualify.:rolleyes:

You must submit the form within 6 months of the purchase date. This program is for Pennsylvania residents only. You get a $500 check on the mail after 6-8 weeks of processing, so it is better than a tax credit.

___Although I have not kept up with it, the Hybrid rebate/tax credit/advantage article had Colorado residents receiving a whopping $4K deal a few years back. A number of other states were included but many may have surely completed closed their programs by now? There are still rebates and credits available from any number of states but I am not sure what they all are today?

$500 Volvo =

1. $4,500 C4C,
2. $100 off MSRP Dealer,
3. $500 rebate for Prius from Pa.,
4. $1,400 sales tax deduction from my Income taxes for buying a new car in 2009.
5. Savings of around $100 a month in gasoline purchases
6. Saved at a minimum $1,000 in repairs the Volvo would have
needed to get it through this winter.

Yes Wayne, it has been a very good year to buy a new Prius.

Maybe I should trade in the HCH2 for a Prius now that I have been living in PA fo rthe past year and a half :)

I received my rebate check in the mail today. It took about 6 weeks to get it.
