View Full Version : Pics of new Prius ? wannabeclean 10-28-2006, 09:43 AM Has anyone seen any pictures of the supposedly redesigned 2008 Prius ? If so can you share where you have seen them ? Thanks ! brick 10-28-2006, 03:57 PM I saw what looked like a press photo but I can't remember where. To me it looked identical to the current Prius but with a redesigned front end, like you would find on the Camry or Yaris. More of e "refresh" than a redesign. wannabeclean 10-29-2006, 03:27 PM Are you referring to the current model ? The front end has had a very mild re-do. ( Headlights don't stick out so far ) I have seen rumours of the next Prius having a plug-in option and a whole new redesign. ( Thanks for posting though ! ) philmcneal 10-29-2006, 03:30 PM what i'm interested is the cost.... if toyota can keep their word with the $1800 premium... oh my... HOW ARE THEY GOING TO MEET DEMAND? SOUNDS LIKE THE HONDA FIT MARKETTING ALL OVER AGAIN!!! sounds like the dealerships are going to benifit from this! xcel 10-29-2006, 06:50 PM Hi Wannabeclean: ___A few threads that you may find of interest if you have not already read them … Sorry but I have not seen any Prius III prototype pics other then speculative renderings. Next Gen Prius will be a nine-mile PHEV! (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=438) Prius of the future 'cheaper'. (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2466) Prius III hits 113 miles/gallon Imperial - 94 miles/gallon US. Most people over on Priuschat believe that it's a Photoshop rendering of the current Prius with the new Camry grill and logo. I thought it looked pretty neat. But the thought was that if Toyota's going to be implementing that grill design on all their vehicles, it's not a far cry to believe that the next Prius will have it. Also, many long-term Toyota owners hold to the belief that Toyota will revamp the Prius in 2009 model year keeping with a 5-year lifecycle. wannabeclean 10-30-2006, 06:08 PM Any chance you can post a link to the pic ?
