I support the development of flex-fuel vehicles, but I can see the way Detroit will market the gas-guzzler size:
Ad: H3 gets 15/20mpg - 17 combined
E85 version available!
Does not post the E85 fuel economy: probably something like 12/16mpg - 13 combined
Buyer gets flex-fuel H3, sees the results and just goes back to regular gas.
The only ways I can think of getting most flex-fuel drivers to use E85 is
it's the only thing available.
E85 is priced below regular gas enough to break-even.
