View Full Version : Prediction: Bad Cow Disease starts tonight
Chuck 09-20-2009, 11:36 AM The Dallas Cowboy deathwatch will start late tonight after they lose in their $1.2B palace to the NY Giants. While Dallas discarded the toxic TO, Pacman, Tank Johnson, they still have a coach and quarterback that have yet to win in the playoffs.
I predict the Giants and Eagles make it to the playoffs and after tonight, the speculation starts on the next Cowboy's coach.

The Little FurBall of HATE ripped the Cowboys (http://www.star-telegram.com/sports/story/1625500.html):D

Chuck 10-05-2009, 02:51 PM The Cowboys do it again - lead by every statistic EXCEPT the one on the scoreboard.
Their record is .500 and expect the season to end with them around .500.
Some wonder is if Belichick or Tomlin had a free hand coaching them, if the Cowboys would at least appear in the Super Bowl.
Note the phrase - free hand.
Not even Bill Parcells had a truly free hand running the Cowboys - he could not clean house with the coaching staff when he joined and did not care for TO being signed.
So at the end of the season, Dallas will probably be shopping for a new coach.
Names will be mentioned like Shanahan, Holmgren, Gruden....but does any of them want the helm of the Cowboys with Jerry Jones' fingers on it at the same time?
I'm not optimistic any of the coaches mentioned will come aboard, or if they do, their authority will be critically undermined.
Best hope for Cowboy's fans is Stephen Jones assums more control in running the team and learns from the mistakes of his father.
Chuck 10-09-2009, 03:21 PM He can't play
Chuck 10-11-2009, 04:47 PM Cowboys really thuged it up, beating the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime.
The butts they kicked around tied Tampa Bay for longest ever NFL losing streak: 2-28....longer then the Detroit Lions.
After the manner they brutally beat the Chiefs, I will put myself on the line and predict if they get the right breaks - the Cowboys will finish at 6-10.
Chuck 10-25-2009, 06:57 PM To my amazement the Cowboys are leading Atlanta 34-14 in the 4th quarter.
Bad Cow Disease is in remission.
phoebeisis 10-25-2009, 08:42 PM WHO CARES ABOUT THE COWBOYS!
WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT THEM SAINTS-WHO DAT!!
These Saints aren't the chokers of the past. Hard to believe they could come from 3 TDS down and win by 12 points!
WHO DAT!!
Chuck 10-25-2009, 08:47 PM Charlie,
Be nice - before I saw your post I was about to say the Saints look like the team to beat....at their current pace they will beat the Patriot's 2007 record for best offense in a season.
Right now I'm thinking the Cows have a 50/50 chance of being a wildcard team - check back in a month and I might take it all back and say someone slipped drugs in my tea.
Hate to see 49ers lose - I'm predicting Singletary coach of the year.
phoebeisis 10-25-2009, 10:23 PM Chuck
The cowboys have good players, but lately they just seem to find a way to lose .
I just can't resist one last
WHO DAT!
Chuck 10-25-2009, 11:27 PM Of all things, it looks like in 3 minutes the Cardinals beat the Giants 24-17.
Cowboys are now 0.5 game behind NY for 1st in the NFC East - speaking of good fortune.
Chuck 11-09-2009, 12:00 AM They beat the Iggles on the road 20-16, then play the Packers (that lost to the Bucs :o ), Redskins, and Raiders....Saints are the only really tough game left - Iggles Giants again could be trouble.
Chuck 11-22-2009, 04:15 PM Cowboys brutalized the Redskins 7-6.
This is not exactly going to instill fear in the Chargers or Saints ahead on their schedule.
Chuck 11-26-2009, 02:42 PM Cowboys defense is constant, but not their offense.
And which Oakland team shows up today? The one that beat Cincinnati or the one that can't beat Pine Tree High?

Chuck 11-27-2009, 12:46 PM Cowboys win well, 24-7
Now all they have left on their schedule is
@Giants
San Diego
@New Orleans :eek:
@Redskins
IgglesTwo more wins and Cows probably get into playoffs but if they lose to the Saints, Chargers, Eagles it sounds like they drop dead in the playoffs - again.
Chuck 12-06-2009, 07:29 PM Cows choke to Giants.
Crash and burn time.
Chuck 12-07-2009, 12:03 PM I figure that losing to the Giants a 2nd time is the game that will get Wade Phillips fired....beating NY would have knocked them out of the playoff picture - now many wonder if the Cows will win any of the last four games.
Romo went to Vegas last week and lost (on the field [perception - passed for 392yds]).
I wish Stephen Jones would take a larger role and maybe help keep his father out of the way.
phoebeisis 12-07-2009, 02:43 PM Like I said, I expect the Saints to lose maybe 2 or 3 of the last 4-Dallas,Atlanta,Carolina always play us tough, and they would love to kick a bit of dirt on our season.
Whan you have nothing to lose-Carolina,Atlanta- you play well-loose-and can take chances.Dallas will have to play us tough to make the playoffs. They have to win 10 games, right?
Who Dat
Charlie
Chuck 12-07-2009, 02:53 PM Don't underestimate the Cowboy's ability to lay an egg.
Randy Galloway's take on the Giant's loss (http://www.mercedsunstar.com/359/story/1212948.html)
Chuck 12-13-2009, 07:51 PM At this time, the Cowboys could lose to the Saints, then beat the Redskins and Eagles and probably make it as a wildcard at 10-6....then they get beat by the Packers in the playoffs. :p
I would not be suprized if the Cowboys lost the rest of their games....other than the Eagles, the Cows have beaten losers: Chiefs, Bucs, Panthers, Raiders, Lions, Seahawks.
Noticed how Wade Phillips can spin stats as if the Cows are still an elite team - just like GM does. ;)
worthywads 12-13-2009, 10:44 PM Of course Green Bay will only get a crack at crushing the Boys if Dallas manages to win the division, otherwise they each play a division winner in the wild card round. History says Romo won't even get you a wild card with your current record. :woot:
Chuck 12-17-2009, 06:02 PM Romo won't even get you a wild card with your current record. :woot:Romo has not been the problem recently.
Rumor has it he's engaged to a former Miss Missouri.
Heard that in New Orleans they are laughing about the Cows deciding on a field goal kicker as they expect to be touchdowns ahead Sat night.
The Saints have barely won the last two game....a team of equal skills that is NOT the Cowboys might win, but that's just it - they will be up to beat the Cows. First: opponents get up to play the Yankees, Irish, Lakers, Cowboys. Second: Sean Payton is like many when he plays a team he left - told his team it's personal.
Chuck 12-21-2009, 05:40 PM Wade Phillips' is not out of the woods on his job.
Jeff is going to laugh at who Jerry Jones might replace him with: Bob Stoops (http://www.ktul.com/news/stories/1209/689028.html) (OU again)
Chuck 01-03-2010, 06:56 PM 4th quarter: Dallas 24-0, but Romo limped off the field.
No way am I smug: these teams have a rematch next week - maybe early on Saturday.
The Eagles are mad as Hell....it's really hard to beat such a good team three times in the same season.
It aint over until next weekend and my recipe for eating crow is still handy.
BTW, the Packers also doing outragously well - beating the Cardinals 33-7 - they might play each other next weekend, too.
