Currently, the Detroit Lions have lost 18 straight games.

How many more do they lose.....or who do they finally beat?

Seems like their best chances are Week 8 (St Louis) and Week 13 (Cincinnati)

So I predict at least 24 back-to-back losses....Tampa Bay lost 26 straight when they started. :o

Come to think of it all the "cat teams" have a long NFL season
Carolina Panthers
Cincinnati Bengals

Jacksonville JaguarsProbably a better year for "burd teams"

Atlanta Falcons
Philladelphia Eagles
Arizona Cardinals
Seattle Seahawks

Can you imagine playing for the Lions with a $25M contract while 25% of the town is unemployed? That might qualify him to be on GM's board.

I have recommended to my friends here who are Lions season ticket holders that they begin forming a class-action lawsuit against the Lions' organization. It is that bad.

Some say Lions might beat the Redskins this weekend....I kind of doubt it.

All the Redskins have to do is imagine there is a star on the Lion's helments - their uniforms look a lot like the Cowboys anyway. :D

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions win this weekend. The Redskins were terrible against the Rams--they won 9-7.

I would be like if Dallas loses to Carolina - fans would want the coach out before the season ends and start speculating on the replacement more than who won.

I view a season as an out of focus picture slowly becoming sharper:

Week One - Brady's back - Carolina is in trouble
Week Two - 49ers hot - Cowboys notThe 0-3 teams have only a 10% chance of being in the playoffs, while the 3-0 teams likely will.

Fresh after their loss, Redskin fans are wanting to fire Zorn before Snyder does, or more importantly, before Jones fires Phillips....Mike Shannahan is the hot picked, followed by Mike Holmgren. Bill Cowher probably would not put up with either owner.
