Zero Motorcycles says its Zero MX off-road battery electric motorcycle (BEM) is now shipping globally. The Zero MX is designed for aggressive track riding and will now be shipping in parallel with the company's high performance Zero X trail BEM. This falls riding season will be the first time dirt bike lovers can choose between two different models that each offer two different options packages. Totaling four different configurations, Zero Motorcycles is positioned to outfit dirt bikers of all skill levels for either the trail or now the track.
After successful product launches in Great Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain, Zero can now ship its dedicated off-road motorcycles directly to expectant customers. Zero Motorcycles is currently ramping up its manufacturing capacity to accommodate the strong demand for the Zero MX. Zero Motorcycles offers the largest line-up of electric motorcycles with off-road, street legal and dual-sport capabilities.

Everyone from hard core off-road enthusiasts to the enviro-conscious are excitedly awaiting the delivery of their motorcycles," Gene Banman, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. Zero MX
The Zero MX is designed for taking the track by using a high performance motorcycle suspension system. It includes a beefier front end and a newly developed custom rear shock that gives riders a fully adjustable spring preload and easily tuned damping. The Zero MX has also been fitted with an aggressive 19" front wheel and tire package that will accommodate any motocross tire.
Zero X
The Zero X is an off-road BEM that is designed for the trail. It utilizes Zero's proprietary lithium-ion power pack and an aircraft grade aluminum frame to achieve an exceptionally high power to weight ratio and extended range. Built from the ground up as a BEM, this stealthy bike brings back the fun of off-road with the satisfaction of not consuming a natural resource (when charged by the sun or hydro) without disturbing nature or neighbors.
