Imagine you're daughter wins gold medal, but it's all drowned out by speculating she is really a man? At the very least could they have done this privately without the global humiliation?

I saw that story. I also read that she was used to it. If that had been my daughter, it would not be handled nearly as well.

There is nothing new about these controversies. We-The West- frequently made these claims during the cold war. They usual implication was that the athletes had drugged themselves with anabolic/androgenic steriods-hence the facial hair and masculine jaw.
We-the USA- almost certainly got away with cheating. Our 41 yo Olympic swimmer-female- was/is about 15 years older than the average female Olympic medalist. This just didn't ring true. She won the silver in the 100 free in the last Olympics.
Whenever someone comes out of nowhere, or does something waaaay outside the norm- there will be naysayers.
In this case- in pictures she doesn't seem much different than other female near sprinters. I remember Maria Mutolo(sic) was a very muscular looking mid distance runner.
I think the suggestion here is she-Caster-is a chimera-some cells XX some XY. If she was all XX or all XY it would be over with one test. Not sure what the rules are on that.

no disrespect here but she doesn't look too femenine... Maria Mutola was muscular but you did not had to look twice to see if it was a she or a he.... this human being looks confusing...

She can be 100% male chromosones (I know females with 50% male chromosones), but as long as the associated organs are female they have nothing to make a fuzz about!
