My fiancé and I have been talking about buying a car for months, so what better time than now to take advantage of the Cash for Clunkers government refund program that just got a $2 billion refill...
Luckily for us, we had an old Jeep that we were trying to get rid of. The Cash for Clunkers program has come under some criticism, in part, because some say too many car owners are cashing in old vehicles that are not on the road. Not true in our case. My fiancé actually drives the Jeep every day.
I didn’t know what to expect entering the Honda dealership... To my surprise, it only took about 10 minutes and one signature to be approved for a $4,500 rebate...
