I'm at almost 79,000 miles on my original Dunlops and need to be replaced, they're almost to the bar.
My dealer offered "tires for life" when I bought the car, but I've had bad rubs with them and won't go there again.

Can anyone suggest a good replacement tire? Here in GA we don't get much snow if any and when we do is usually gone in a day or so. We do get an occasional icestorm but anything short of cleats or chains help with that.

Any suggestions?

Hi Steve:

___I would go OEM’s if I were you or you are going to be sorry. Either the SP20’s or B381’s are the lowest RR tires you can find for the HCH-I and anything else is going to cost you fuel.

___Good Luck

Hey guys if anyone is getting tires and gets them through tire rack use this link. We are going to advertise for these guys to support the site. I just haven't found a place to put the links where they will be useful but not detract from the content.

Shop for tires. Select vehicle at Tirerack (http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-2168984-10377851?sid=www.cleanmpg.com" target="_top) to see sizes that are right for you. Review performance categories, test results. Read customer reviews.

Hi Steve:

___I cannot find the RRC’s of the Dunlop’s but only the B381’s from that old Greenseal report.

Bridgestone B381 = .0062

___The only 2 tires that would have a lower Rolling resistance would be the Insight specific RE92’s and of course the HCH-I’s other OEM, the Dunlop SP20 FE’s iof they are lower??? Tire rack sells the B381’s for $78/per whereas the SP 20 FE’s are just $57 per?

___Good Luck
