The Société de transport de Montréal was part of a pilot project that closely monitored the functioning of eight hybrid buses and six standard diesel buses deployed on three STM routes between April 2008 and March 2009.

The lower fuel consumption would result in a reduction of 36 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually for a... http://www.montrealgazette.com/Hybrids+next+stop+downtown/1660478/story.html
