I don't have enough hills to test this.
I noticed that some Chrysler Minivans will actually actuate the brakes when you're going downhill with the cruise on.
Does anyone know if any Hyundai passenger cars do this as well?

My 99 Elantra does not. It simply backs off the throttle and lets the engine brake if the hill is steep enough.

My 08 Elantra doesn't either.

My mother's grand caravan doesn't brake downhill with cruise on, but it will downshift. Funny thing is, it won't downshift to maintain speed going uphill.
