I rent about 1-2 cars per week in my job and on VAC. As of a few months ago, I started collecting data about each vehicle from my ScanGuage. I have a mound of data to still enter, but if you plan to rent a car, I have a off-site link to where the reviews are located. (http://www.gassavers.org/reviews)
Aside from raw data, there's also my personal spin on what I though of the vehicle.

That's funny, I get a 404 error on those pages but the text
That's certainly odd. I thought it might be a members-only thing, but I tried that and wasn't the deal. I'll contact the webmaster...
The problem should now be fixed. Research away!

sweet - you even give out ribbons :D
When a car like the Camry exceeds EPA estimates, I had to do something about it
So far, the Chevy Malibu gets the "Best of Brand" award as it easily gets 30 mpg almost every time I rent it. The Kia Spectra isn't on there yet, but it may be the "Best Value"
I drive the cars like the "average American" would -- no hypermiling and keeping up with traffic in-town, to get a real-life set of data. I've run out of '06 cars, so I'm only renting ecomomy/compact cars to save fuel, even though I get "upgraded" to just about anything and my company buys the fuel. I'm in a Chevy Aveo today, Cobalt Coupe earlier this week.
