Just wondering what the most anyone's ever gotten on a Corvette, Porsche, S2000, etc.

Depends on your definition of sports car. There are several people on here with wrx's and at least one mazdaspeed 3 that is pulling really impressive mileage. For me personally I don't mind the gas I waste on nice sundays as long as I make up for it in the daily driver.

No, but the principles are the same. Several folks here drive sporty cars, like Frogmann's Prelude and a couple of folks' WRXes. They can get 140% of EPA, just like everyone else.

He drives a 2006 Nissan 350 Z and he was able to get 42.1 mpg which is 210% above EPA.

I quit hypermiling before it got very cold, so I don't deserve to be placed as high as I was on that list. I started wishing I had a better car for hypermiling and just sort of lost interest for awhile. However, it is possible to get amazing FE numbers, even with an overpowered V6.

Hi Jhu:

___40 mpg from a Vette has been done. The 335d we uploaded the review for a few hours ago was pretty exciting for an AT equipped lux sport car and offered 167% of the EPA combined...

Everything you would expect from a BMW... and more. (cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=202194)

From the short distance I drove a '94 Camaro 350 V-8 6-MT, I could see 40 mpg tanks as a real possibility. The car has been for sale for over a year and I have so far resisted that temptation.:p
