Very cool and very well done. It really grabs the attention. I'd still like to replace our roof with solar panels. I know that someday that will be the norm, but I guess it will be awhile.

Hi Sledge:

___I am sorry I missed this one as it was indeed a great vid! With this bump, I hope others get to see it as well?

___I personally cannot wait until we have our hands on 20 +% efficient and in-expensive solar cel’s to power our homes, cars, and lives! Your link just makes to much sense in the bigger scheme of things.

___Good Luck

___Wayne

There was an article yesterday about SunPower's new 22% efficient panels. Probably not cheap but worth a look.

Anyone know offhand if there's an easy way to extract the actual
filename of the video from a youtube link? This javascript/flash
BS is NFW going to work for me, but if I can pull down an mpeg
or wmv or whatever, then I can deal.
.
Bloody idiots. Just another popularization of high-risk browser
configurations.

I feel your pain Hobbit! I think there is a plugin for firefox, but I'm not sure thats very helpful to you. I want to take a lead pipe to some of these flash8 sites.

1) Right click the YouTube link and copy it.

2) Go here: http://keepvid.com/?url

3) Paste link in the bar at the top and click the button.

4) Click download link, change file extension to .FLV and play with an appropriate player (like VLC).

Done :)
