Recently I failed at my second attempt to get 1K km out of a tank (described elsewhere), but when I was looking at my logs and all the graphs I make in Excel I noticed how much CleanMPG helped my MPG. So for that:
THANK YOU
Let me illustrate with a graph:
http://www.cleanmpg.com/photos/uploads/8460/mpg.GIF
sorry there are no year numbers on there, but it starts in 2007, trough 2008 and first months of 2009.
It's a lifetime graph, and you can see the next interesting things:
My new years resolution for 2008 was:
- to use less fuel,
- to drive calmer
For various reasons, and you can clearly see that in the graph when I go from 35-40 to 45.
In Oktober 2008 I joined CleanMPG and you can see my MPG go up again from 45 to 50.
The to dips are:
19/sept: fuel leak.
8/jan: A lot of snow, Ice, I skidded off road, my car was broken (radiator killed)
Next goal: 55mpg. not bad for an 11year old car.
So to all who helped me and provided usefull info on this site:
Thank You.
with Kind Regards
Tom
