Hello everyone! I hope everyone has been doing well as I've been MIA for quite some time ;)

I'm just about to go on a road trip and I stopped into the honda dealership to take a look at the new Insights as I saw one driving down the road yesterday at work. Took one for a test drive and I must say I'm quite impressed with the car ;) So much that I'll be picking one up within the next month or so :D

My time with the Insight was rather short.. Only 8 miles, but I did manage a respectable 61 mpg average on a mixed course of city and highway driving that the sales lady had me drive on. She was actually quite impressed with the numbers I got.

Anyway, just wanted to stop in and say hello. Married life has been rather busy but all is well I hope start showing my face more often then once or twice every few months from now on.

Long story short, when I went to detriot last year with Wayne for the auto show, I ended up staying a couple days in MI to spend some time with an old flame ;) We ended up reconnecting and were married a couple months later.

Hiya Sean! Yep, the Insight still resides happily in my garage although the extreme hypermiling has taken a back seat lately. I'm in the process of removing MIMA though as I'll most likely be trading in my 06 for the new insight. 4 doors and seats will be coming in handy in the future.

so most likely I'll be going back to the dealership on Thursday to be possibly purchasing a red insight with nav. :D so excited!

Yep, I'll most likely be trading the insight in depending on the offer. Thanks for the heads up for that insight offer. Quite nice that they are offering to donate to cleanmpg! Although a $500 doc fee doesn't sit well with me :\

I want to go look at the toyotas though so I might end up changing my mind.
