I really like the look and FE possibilities of this thing. I wonder if it will make it into the U.S.

___If it still receives just 40 mpg, it will be DOA as a larger, faster, and possibly safer? Yaris similarly equipped (stripped) can be had for a similar price :(

Darn! I performed a search to make sure something hadn't yet been posted on the Mitsu I but for some reason that thread didn't come up. Sorry for starting a new thread needlessly. I should have known better. I haven't seen any article of even remote interest escape you, Wayne.
