Now that Tom so nicely categorized the cars into gas, hybrid, electric, etc, there are a lot of hybrids listed under “gas” (brown) when they should be in the "hybrid" (blue) category.
What happened is, even if you picked "civic hybrid" "insight" or "prius" for your make/model of car, that alone won't put it in the right category. Here's what you need to do:
Go to the “Mileage Logs” page
Click on “Edit or Delete Vehicle” link for your car, near the top.
Do NOT change your car year, make or model. Just look down the page for the selectable PROPULSION field. If it says GAS, change it to HYBRID. And you're done.
(I think when most of us first did this, we saw “gas” as default, said sure, and left it.)
