Hope police catch who is issuing these "tickets" --Ed.

Cars in the US had traffic violation tickets placed on the windscreen, which then directed users to a website.

The website claimed to have photos of the alleged parking violation, but then tricks users into downloading a virus.

Anti-virus firm McAfee says the Vundo Trojan then gets users to install a fake anti-virus scanner.Vehicles in Grand Forks, North Dakota were the targets for this new type of fraud.

On the bright side, you might walk out to your car and catch one of these perps. The results wouldn't be pretty. The squeamish would have to avert their eyes...

Imagine catching one of these Internet psychopaths in the act of trying to spread malware or a virus!

The paper and window almost certainly has fingerprints on it....this seems a really stupid way to spread a computer virus....limited effect and high risk of being caught.

The only plus I could see is if you caught a worker at a major company during their lunch. They go back to office and grab the virus. Bingo....your on the other side of a big nasty firewall. But then again, thats just the sort of company that will investigate & attack.

Yeah but who knows, if they were smart they would have posted on craigslist "$100 to pass out 1,000 car flyers"
