I'm just wondering what percentage of hypermilers shave their legs. (I do, but not exactly for hypermiling.)

View Full Version : Do you shave your legs? NiHaoMike 02-04-2009, 12:46 PM I'm just wondering what percentage of hypermilers shave their legs. (I do, but not exactly for hypermiling.) Shiba3420 02-04-2009, 12:59 PM And why would hypermiler shaving habits be any differnt from anybody else? NiHaoMike 02-04-2009, 01:04 PM And why would hypermiler shaving habits be any differnt from anybody else? Some surprising correlation happens in unexpected places. I have noticed that most electrical engineers do not shave their legs, but most biomedical engineers do. (Why there would be that strong of a correlation is a mystery to me, of course!) BTW, Texas A&M's best hypermiler shaves her legs. lightfoot 02-04-2009, 01:12 PM Bicycle racers shave their legs. Easier to get liniments on and off. And leg hair tends to pull off skin when you are sliding along the pavement after a crash. Used to do it for bicycle racing and hated the whole process. Especially when stubble grew out on your legs, very uncomfortable. Women shaving their legs have my complete sympathy. NiHaoMike 02-04-2009, 01:34 PM It helps to keep you cooler while you are driving without the AC. That's one reason why I do it. True, but then I wouldn't have that pretty oil-rain fountain appearance as the perspiration rolls down my leg hair. Pigs sweat Men perspire and women glow. And yesterday I saw a woman glowing like a pig. bomber991 02-04-2009, 05:45 PM If I shaved my legs then I'd have to start wearing pants. PaleMelanesian 02-04-2009, 05:50 PM DWOP? (driving w/o pants) bomber991 02-04-2009, 05:53 PM Well Chewbacca doesn't wear pants either. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
