Grand Rapids, MI — A Grand Rapids lawyer has received a personal call from Ford Motor Corp. chief Alan Mulally after eschewing a planned foreign car purchase in favor of a Ford Fusion Hybrid.
Michael Snapper says he wanted an "environmentally responsible car" and first planned to buy a Prius made by Toyota Motor Corp.
Snapper tells WOOD-TV Mulally's voicemail began: "Hi Mike, it's Alan Mulally from Ford," then offered congratulations and thanks.
