Sleek, silent and environmentally sound: electric cars have the potential to transform our cities and revitalise the car industry.
It seems that every few years a new model is announced as the future of motoring before sinking into oblivion.
Now though, with car manufacturers under pressure to innovate, a new concept for electric motoring is emerging, led by an entrepreneur who is being hailed as a visionary.
