i was just wondering what you guys think of the lexus 600h

i think that it is cool and while seemingly pointless is sort of a eco -conscious alternative for those who must have a huge huge v8 sedan anyway just curious

___For most here, nothing good and fortunately or not, sales of the LS (hybrid and non-hybrid) have been abysmal to say it politely.

___For the 2008 model year, LS sales were off 42.7% vs. all of 07 and this past Dec. saw fewer than 1,451 new units reach consumers hands. I suspect less than 5% of those were LSh hybrids given the $40,000 premium.

IMO this car would be the equivalent to putting a V12 in a Yaris. It might be fun, but it doesn't make any sense.

it does seem somewhat of an oxy moron, however i still think it cleverer than those awful hybrid v8 suvs albiet they cost what they do

and yeah the sales do imply that the car is seemlingly less desirable
