Chuck, that is a good story about him. You may want to change the title of the thread to "Tony Dungy Retires" though.;)

He is a class act and a winner, which is rare among NFL coaches.

Being from Indiana I got a chance to listen to the press conference on my way to work. Of what I did hear was very emotional for everyone involved. At the beginning of his speech, as he noticeably held back his emotions, Dungy made the remark about his wife saying he should have some tissues with him, but he thought he would be able to make it further than his first sentence.

He was a great coach and is an even better man. From what I hear he is wanting to do some work in the jails as a mentor.
