I am really making an effort to be wise in my driving habits, I have never been a speed demon or anything close to it, but have always driven carefully obeying the speed limit ect. I am now trying to drive even more slowly and cautiously, but here in S. Florida where everyone seems to be in a hurry to get nowhere fast, it causes other drivers to use their horns and/or fingers at me even though 90% of the time I'm in the right lane. But the "kkep up with traffic mentality prevails here and Hypermiling is like a foreign word. My car is a 98 Corolla with just about 275,000 miles. But its no clunker, its still a pretty decent ride. I use it as my office on wheels. And I spent most of the day on the road, so its important to me to get the most out of a tankfull of gas as I possibly can.
