I think The Borg are currently alterning Earth's timeline by getting Blagojevich elected govenor of Illnois. Before you dismiss me to Art Bell's Coast to Coast - anyone recall who Seven of Nine was married, how that blew up and the result?

Hmmm, wasn't she married to some politician- maybe one from the midwest.They went thru a nasty divorce.She accused him of dragging her to a wife swap club and forcing her to participate..

I can't remember the Blogo connection- maybe it was a midwest politician.

Seven of Nine was once Miss Illinois... Once married to Jack Ryan who was on the GOP ticket for a US Senator seat in Illinois and liked (allegedly) to go to sex clubs. He was promptly replaced on the ticket by Alan Keyes who lost to president elect Obama. I think we all know the connection to Blagojevich and the vacant Obama Senate seat.

Also, interesting to note that Seven of Nine shares the same birthday as George Washington...

Now since the Borg are all about the collective mind, I'm not sure if I have the mental capacity by myself to understand their logic or direction on this one. Maybe I'll have to go back and watch some re-runs.

I think my story falls apart on Jack Ryan running for Senator - not Governor, but still think there is a Borg plot. :D
