Hey guys!
I am leaving to Orlando in about 30 minutes (Yay! Camping!). I should have posted this a while back to get some suggestions in advance, but I was too tied up (or lazy).
Originally I was planning on driving up alone, so I would have been able to do whatever I wanted. But I have some company driving up with me now, so I won't be able to do this the way I wanted. We'll also have some gear to carry, I assume. I would have taken a lot longer to get there driving the way I want to.
I am going to be taking the Florida Turnpike with PSLs of 65 - 70 MPH, from what I have heard. I was hoping I could drive 50 - 55 MPH, but my passenger might get a little upset if I drive so slowly. The trip is about 250 miles worth of highway. We'll see what happens.
Feel free to drop me some tips as I have mobile internet access.
I am thinking that my best bet would be to set CC to a decent speed and take it easy, while trying not to worry about my FE too much. I am going to experiment a little with different throttle positions, but I won't be FASing. NICE-on coasting will be no problem. I aired my tires up to 60 PSI last night, they had dropped to 58 over the past few weeks.
Ah! The time! Gotta run, guys! Wish me luck! :bananalama:
