Who Will Last Longer - GM CEO or Lions' Coach?
Not that this is exactly related, but both are not exactly in line for a raise.

Not that this is exactly related, but both are not exactly in line for a raise. JusBringIt 12-08-2008, 10:45 AM Rod Marinelli !! lamebums 12-08-2008, 11:37 AM If Wagoner can stay in there for as long as he has, then I'm sure Matt Millen will go before him. As bad as he is, it's hard to get football managers out of there. Just look at Mike Brown, the most incompetent NFL owner in history. peacefrog_0521 12-25-2008, 07:55 AM Wow, tough choice. I only pick Wagoner because Lie-Ons owner William Clay Ford Sr. has already said he's keeping on his staff intact for next year. And somehow, from what I've read, he's just delusional enough to do it. Lie-Ons fans here are anxiously waiting and hoping for Bill Ford Jr. (former Ford Motor Co CEO) to intervene and take over ownership responsibilities. Meanwhile, I'm happy I've been able to watch nearly every Pittsburgh Steelers game this season here on Detroit TV stations (which no longer carry Lie-Ons home games). (Well what did you think they'd show - The Browns?) Lamebums - I'm sure WCF has Mike Brown beat for Worst Owner title. I've heard they're not only keeping Marvin Lewis, but maybe giving him an extension. At least Lewis has shown he's earned it in the past few years before this one. The Bungles could be a good-to-great team again very quickly under Lewis when Palmer gets healthy, when Chris Henry can stay clear of the law, and when Chad Johnson can shut the hell up and/or play somewhere else. Speaking of Johnsons, how many do the Bungles now have? I last counted at least three: Chad, Rudi, and another one on special teams whose name I can't recall (Doug?). They were beginning to sound like the town of Rock Ridge in "Blazing Saddles". -Raj Chuck 12-26-2008, 09:45 AM He's too comfortable retired, but a Johnson the Bengals would love would be Jimmy Johnson. :) A somewhat sadistic ESPN sportscaster suggested Detroit's last game be nationaly televised on the premise many would love to see an 0-16 train wreck. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2013, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
