Hi All,
I'm hoping I can find some help. Last week I received my Scangauge II which I bought for my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Diesel pickup.
Once I start the vehicle and drive, after about 10 minutes the message center on the instrument panel displays SECURITY and 3 seconds later cuts power to the OBD connector. Once I shut the engine and restart it I get SG data until 10 minutes or so has elapsed and the whole cycle starts over again...
This is very frustrating. I spoke with the SG manufacturers who said that I should try setting the PID transmission speed to SLOW. I did this but it didn't help.
I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced this problem and can offer a work-around or solution?
