Someone I kind of know was complaining about the cost of gas. Seems he paid $87 dollars to fill up his Tahoe this week.

$87?!?!

Wow. I didn't get all high and mighty with him, but I did give a minipresentation on fuel economy, fuel efficient vehicles, E85 and E100, PHEVs, PEVs, and gave him the website for GH. He listened rather raptly, I think. Seems he's tired of "Getting raped by the pump."

Another example of market forces finally causing a change.

With all due respect, there is a thread at that forum that the usual malcontents are ranting about their God-given right to use vehicles like a Tahoe daily. Somehow in FantasyLand it's not going to affect the oil supply, environment, or their wallet.

I think I paid 3.25 for 87 monday. So 3.346 would be on target for 89.

Hi Rich:

___The only problem I see is GH will run him out on a rail!

___If instead you would have mentioned CleanMPG, I think we could have helped him? Last > 1,000 mile tank in the non-hybrid Accord was twice EPA combined. Can non-hybrid owners be smug too? ;)

___Good Luck

___Wayne
