If anyone asks, I'll tell them that my car gets such good MPG because it runs on both gas and hybrid hating :D

I've got about 2 weeks left on my MONSTER tank.If I see something that doesn't look right, I'll ask you to clarify. If I KNOW it's not right, I won't list your entry. This could be a problem for any non-believer.... Hopefully all the pics will be proof enough.

Hey Lakedude,

Way to go! You should be able to get that tank close to 1000 miles. You may beat Dan K. yet! He may have to borrow his wife's Prius for a month to keep his bragging rights for 5 passenger vehicles ;) Can you believe that you used to be worried when going more than 300 miles on a tank? Don't hurt your back pushing the car :)

DennisThanks,

I'm trying for at least a thousand miles for the tank. Beating Dan would be like beating Walter Payton or something. Dan is the man.

I'll go back to smaller tanks after this one. I don't like the FE being so static.

BTW this tank has zero pushed miles, I promised RJ I wouldnt cheat.

I am flattered by being compared to Walter Payton, they didn't call him "Sweetness" for nothing. In fact, I can't think of a better sports hero to be compared to for a hypermiler.

Anyway, I'm pulling for you to smash my 1007 mile tank. I don't think I would try to beat it anytime soon. I would be open to something like a 2000 mile tank in an Insight hpwever. Hmm, I guess I would need an Insight for that.

I have already done 700 on the VX and it only supposedly has a 10.0 gallon tank. Perhaps 800 miles is on tap some time this summer.:Banane26:

Not only was Walter Payton a great player, he was a wonderful off the field person and was a great team player.

Contrast this to "Terrible Owens".

Ever get the feeling some people just take offense at hybrids, hypermilers, etc.?

I do.

When you have that occasional driver that could easily pass you, but instead chooses to be rude, when you those that troll on this, you suspect they take is personally.

I did check the junk mail, no help. I had to try a couple of times for an unused username and that anti spam secret code thing might have changed in between. Oh well.
