Automaker Ford Motor may sell Land Rover, a maker of four-wheel-drive vehicles, along with Jaguar, as part of a shake-up of its British brands, The Sunday Times newspaper reported

Being friends with some Ford Execs, the decision to buy Jaguar was based solely on them being able to get Jaguar cars for company cars, they had the cash, and they thought Jaguar would make them classier.

Nowadays, they're seeing that was a silly move.
