This has been nagging at me for a bit... why is it that the police are out to enforce our laws, and yet they're not required to follow them? It really irks me to see a police car tailgate a motorist in the left hand lane, and then scoot over around them to pass on the right. And they do this with no signal. Once he got past our guy charlie on the left, and officer didn't floor it, but neither did he slow down. He ended up taking an exit about a mile down the road, but I'd expect to see him flash his lights if he was responding to a call. He also took the exit without a signal.

I see a ton of officers pull the same things that normal citizens do that would be cause to be pulled over... but shouldn't they be setting a better example? I dunno, my deep thought for the day.

Yes, Matthew, they should be held accountable for their actions. Sometimes laws will have to be bent a bit in the pursuit of enforcement, but regular disregard of laws with no other reason than convenience is inexcusable. :(
