I noticed something interesting while coasting in the Yaris' "SHM" mode: Once the Trip MPG is equivalent with the Current MPG, it will no longer change unless you FAS or increase LOD, at which point it will decrease.

I.e. my max trip FE on my daily commute is 65.5 MPG, which I can hold rather steadily as I can maintain a Current MPG at the same numbers. If I accelerate, the numbers go down rapidly, and if I FAS or ease off the my Current MPG exceeds 65.5, the numbers slowly go up.

I'm sure this is pretty self-evident and logical, but it was just interesting to see that there actually is an apparent MPG "ceiling" one can reach while driving.

While I'm at it, I just managed to hit 103.7MPG while driving around town! In an Auto no less! My new max MPG! Booyah!
