Trivia: In 1992, all three Presidential candidates shared a personal trait (Bush, Perot, Clinton). It happened again in 1996 (albeit due to Bob Dole's war injury ;) ). It happened again with both McCain and Obama.
What is it?
I noticed it during tonight's debate.

I'm uncertain, but I'll throw this out there if it will help someone:
Bob Dole held a pen in his right hand most of the time to discourage folks from trying to shake his right hand. Instead, if he were to shake someone's hand - he'd use his left hand. Even when he spoke (waving his arms around as politicians do), he'd have that Mont Blanc style pen in his right hand.

ooo I think I know. They're all mentally challenged!
Well, actually I'm not too sure that's a personal trait or not.

In 1992 and 2008, the major Presidential candidates in the general election were left-handed (Bush, Perot, Clinton, McCain, Obama). Statistically, left-handed people are more likely to be geniuses, morons, and accident prone.

"Statistically, left-handed people are more likely to be geniuses, morons, and accident prone."
Cool! I'm left-handed, and I like to think that I'm very occasionally a genius, usually a moron, and always accident prone. Good to know there's a reason!
