Last summer, I built an electric motorcycle.

Basically, I took the engine and transmission out of an old Kawasaki KZ440 and put in a motor and some batteries.
Everything in it is bolted-together, off-the-shelf technology.
It charges straight from the wall using a renewable energy program through my local utility. (Carbon-free vehicle!)
