While I was wanting the next hypermiler meet Sat at noon Sept 20 in Lewisville, have an idea I want to run across everyone in North Texas.
What about meeting Sept 27 at noon at the Auto Building at the Texas St Fair (http://www.bigtex.com) Grounds? See map (http://www.bigtex.com/generalinfo/fairgroundmap/fairgroundmap.pdf). It's the first Sat of the fair - NOT Texas vs Oklahoma weekend. Big Tex points to the Auto Building with his right hand - when you enter, it's on the right side as you head for the Esplinade.
Tickets are $14, but Kroger sells them for $12.

The State Fair is a whole lot closer to where I am than Lewisville is, so I'd be happy not to have to drive as far to see everyone.

I wouldn't be able to meet up then either. I wan planning on going down the the Renewable Energy Roundup in Fredricksburg, TX. But keep us posted for when ever you decide to have it.

I have someones Birthday party to go to later, so I would not be at the fair long. Parking and fair entrance make it kind of high. Another time or place might be better. Downtown, or something more centrally located would be OK with me.

This Saturday at noon. At the St Fair site linked in Post #1 it has directions to get to the grounds and a grounds map (also linked in post #1)

The meet for tommorrow is postponed...a project at work prevented me from promoting this adequately, then has me concerned I may be at work this weekend.
Since Dan is going to be at the Fair on Oct 11 and 18, let's shoot for that.
Oct 11 of coures will be Texas vs Oklahoma so it's going to be quiet. :p
