Hi All,
I used to be an impatient, lead-footed commuter which left me drained after a day's commute. CleanMPG.com has not only taught me how to drive more efficiently but how to be a better driver in general. I rarely post to message boards but I'm impressed by the genuine sense of community this website has.
Sorry for the lame user name. I was inspired by the many HotWheels cars scattered around our house belonging to my two boys. I know I will never commute in anything that cool! :o
Here is my WarmWheels specs: 1999 Honda Civic LX with AT. Averaging about 34 MPG on my daily commute of 52 miles. 60% city, 40% highway. That's about 20% better than I managed before I found this website.
I've learned a lot in the weeks of "lurking" on CleanMPG and I'm sure I will learn more.
Thanks,
Doug
