I was wondering if the database will eventually include cars made prior to 1998. I believe there are several of us who have older cars and have had to find our own EPA ratings. Albeit an easy thing to find out, I was just wanting to know if that was planned or not.

Damion, I've been looking into extending the DB entries but haven't yet decided the best method of doing so. What I'd like to do is regular updates based upon data auto-acquired directly from fueleconomy.gov -- I'm not sure this is even possible but it would remove the problem of not having the vehicles we need in the DB.
I'm sorry the info isn't yet there! I'm slowly updating and adding to our site as I learn what is needed and how to make the changes.

No problem, you're doing a great job so far with the DB. That would be great to be able to pull that info directly from fueleconomy.gov. My question was more of a question of if it was planned or people with older cars are just screwed, so to speak. Thanks for the fast reply by the way Sean.

Thanks. :o
No, people with older cars aren't "screwed" -- they are an important part of the driving public and we do offer information to help "raise fuel economy and lower emissions in whatever you drive." :)
