I would like to know why the engine and the converter are not heated electrically. Using the friction and combustion heat from the engine is so efficient.

If you can rig one up to work with your car let us know! be sure to do a write-up ;) shifty35 08-13-2008, 04:14 PM #1. EBH. Get your car warm with electricity before it's ever started. #2. Friction and combustion heat are "free" in that you have no choice but to make them so long as the engine is running. Makes little sense to use battery power to heat what gets hot anyway!
