This latest tank has been mostly highway driving for 732.5 km. I pulled into the Esso station to fill up, and it took 54 litres. The low fuel light was on and i was starting to sweat it. In restrospect, i coulda gone to 800km on that tank if i really wanted to push my luck. Anyways, this yielded a very impressive 7.37L/100km consumption. My last tank before this was mostly city driving and i got 8.9L/100km....much improvement :woot:
PS for those using mpg, my first tank was 26.4mpgUS and this latest one 31.9mpgUS
Cheers, and keep your fingers crossed for me :)

Doc, the pictures are actually regenerated on every tank add or modification. The reason you don't always see an instant update is because your computer's web browser is caching images. If you want it to show up right away, try a full refresh of the page (hold down the shift key while clicking the reload button) or clear out your cache before reloading.
Congrats on the wonderful improvement in fuel economy!!

Nice work DocOc, you are in a select group of SUV hypermiliers to have acheived above 30 MPG. Congratulations!

thanks guys, it's been a fun 700+ km and I've reached my goal of 30mpgUS on this mini FSP. i'll try for higher, but i have doubts that i can get over 8L/100km in the conditions i drive (mostly city and shorter trips)
PS
Ed: my little x-trail isnt much of an SUV...it's more like a Subaru with an Altima engine lol
