Phil,

The lower side spoilers are fiberglass and I feel like the (Honest-Answer) to your question is this, YES

However, remember the wheels are alot lighter than the stock wheels. So it is more than likely not alot of true difference in the HCH II's Weight with the Lower Body Spoilers added.

Here's something to think about Phil when you think of what the difference in weight is adding the changes to the HCH II. Just think of what the difference is between a person that weights in at say 250 Lbs. versus a person that weights say 180 Lbs. Is that not a difference of, 70 Lbs. Do you see where I am coming from? Unless the alterations to the vehicle were really extreme it just really makes No-Difference in the Big-Picture. Weight is important but I can tell you Phil that a persons driving style Far-Far makes more difference in FE than the increase in Lbs. due to some Mods being done. Just take a few minutes and read this a couple of times and I think it will hit you where I am coming from.

No, that's it so far (actually the wheels are 15", with 195/60/15 tires). I took the antenna off because I use a Sirius radio now, but it's the kind that sits in a cradle, and the cradle broadcasts on an FM station that I tune my radio to. I took the antenna off because it was picking up stations on the same frequency as the cradle. However, I still can get FM radion just fine without it, and the satellite radio is crystal clear (you can see the sat antenna on the top left of the rear windshield).

I just got the tint and I love it - 35% (legal limit in WA). I've pondered the idea of changing the air filter, but I can't seem to get a final answer on whether it helps or hurts FE. The windows are the last mod I'm planning for this car. :D

i applaud your efforts to personalize your hch2. you've done more to yours than any other one i've seen. i'm into modding, too. however, imo, that kit makes the body look bulkier than stock. it kinda looks like the new corolla. i prefer the smooth, sleek look, myself.
