I think it's satire... although I'm admittedly unfamiliar with cracked.com

I didn't take it seriously since the point of the article was to "try" to be funny.

I hope it is a satire. I think most folks are misled on what hypermiling really is. I'm pretty sure you won't find a hypermiler driving 85 mph 10 feet behind an 18-wheeler! Anyone doing that watches too much mythbusters (TV in general).

Now if I could find an elephant traveling 55, I MIGHT distance draft the fella... and call Guiness Book of World Records!
