I'm doing a research project for one of my marketing courses and already know of most of the electric cars on the market such as the tesla, think, and zap. I'm here though, to see if anyone else knows of some more cars that are currently on the market and if other than the tesla under legal to operate on the highways.
Thanks in advance :)

Oh yeah... if you are after conversions look up the eBox. Also, hybrid systems is another converter I believe -- they convert Minis, etc.

Check out the Zenn at www.zenncars.com. It is a neighborhood electric vehicle that has all of the conventional automotive features (windshield wiper, headlights, foglight, heater, radio, etc.) but does not cost an arm and a leg. I own one, and love it.

while it is basic and has made problems yet to get fixed...
I updated my web site to include more information about EVs... Gasoline vs electric comparison and the rates of increase of both historically in the US... I also added links for prebuilt EV , conversion , and a few other links...
probably all stuff any EVer already knows.... might be useful for others.
