Okay, I've been looking at a lot of rims lately just for fun. I don't plan on replacing mine just yet, but I was thinking. Humm spinners... Thats kind of like putting flywheels on the wheels ;) I wonder how much FE it would get you ;)

Remember all the enthusiasm back in the day about flywheel energy
storage systems?

Here, I found an instructional video for you.

Definitely would look cool but I wouldn't want to get anything caught in there while adding air.. I like the video. Probably would increase the theft possibility and increase your insurance.

The bling, bling I'd spend money on is the neon light under the doors - only they would be on extended plyons that would activate just as I was flooring it like this (http://www.munich-online.de/storage/pic/mol/kino/34229_VOY_072_Voyager_Warp.jpg). I'd obviously need more power for the intended effect :D

You know, thats not a bad idea. Hook up some leds or something so they go on and off in series. As the throttle position changes the rate of the LEDs speeds up or slows down.

I'd love to add the sound effect from the original Starship Enterprise with that overwhelming transmission hum at about Warp 9. That's the time Scotty pleads for Capt Kirk to back off or the ship flys apart. :D
