Hey ya'll,
I found this website...I know we're all trying to avoid the gas pump but let's face it, when we're on long driving trips odds are we are going to have to refuel at some point. Anyway, I found a nifty little website that lists gas prices (and, by the way, is looking for spotters to report the gas prices). It's http://www.gasbuddy.com. Tell 'em I sent ya.

It would be nice if those sites would tell us what kind of gas is sold at each station. In Wisconsin, there are some stations outside the "Ozone Non-Attainment Zone" which sell E10 where they aren't mandated to. Whenever I travel, I have to either call stations and ask, or pull in and look at the pumps to see if there's a "10% Ethanol" Sticker on the pump.
I have DeLorme Street Atlas and GPS on my Laptop computer and I know when I go to visit family that I have to stop for gas around the I-26/ I-95 intersection. I fired up the Delorme and it told me the zip was 29018. Plugged that in to gas buddy or MSN Auto's and it tells me which gas station has the cheapest prices. So in three weeks when I head to Fl. I will pull up the prices and be able to write down the three cheapest stations before and after the I-26/I-95intersection to fill at.
When I looked at the gas price the most expensive gas was at a BP just before you hit I-95 on I-26. Yet the cheapest is the pilot truck stop about 4 miles before that BP. The difference is about $6.40 per tank of gas. When I throw in refueling in Naples it now makes a $10 difference on two tanks of gas. You see the gas station near my families place is one of the most expensive. If I drive down the road about 1/2 mile I will hit the cheapest station in town. The difference is .18 cents but with a 21.3 gallon gas tank the savings add up quickly.
So if your traveling and your going to have to stop 3 or 4 times to fill up these gasoline sites could save you a whole lot of money during the trip.

Speaking of ethanol in gasoline, y'all know it is easy to test for, right?

It does leave you with fuel to dispose of. You could tank it, if you had one of these:
