Has anyone had experience running the scan gauge on an MDS equipped vehicle?

I have a Charger Daytona R/T with the 5.7l Hemi
I noticed on the Linear-Logic site that it said that there may be problems with vehicles with MDS or partial cylinder shutdown. I thought it may be worth my while to get it even if it would just let me know when I was driving on 4 or 8 cyl. That way I could tailor my driving style to stay in 4cyl mode the majority of the time. But it would be great if all the functions worked as well. If anyone has had experience with Scan Gauge and MDS vehicles.

I would love to hear how you have faired.

Thank you

I can't speak for the MDS on your car but we have a Honda Odyssey with VCM which shuts down 3 cylinders while cruising. I just recently installed a scan gauge II and it functions well. It doesn't tell you when the cylinders are shut down though. The odyssey has ECO indicator that says when 3 are shutdown.

The problem I had with scan gauge though was it quite frequently said 9999 for MPG. Found out how to fix this from others on the site. http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11524&highlight=odyssey
