___I received another few requests early this morning and afternoon for another Group Buy. The same $149.95 shipped with a minimum of 20 before it completes. The last five filled within four days but I suspect this one will be more along the lines of a std. week?

Hi Wayne I emailed you a few days ago and no response. I hope I am not bothering you in any way. But I have a few questions about the scan gauge II you sent me. I hear you need to run a few tanks of gas to dial it in so you fuel mileage is correct. In the fill up screen you can plus or - % what would increasing it do the fuel mileage readings vs. decreasing it? Also when I am coasting down a hill and shut my car off and put it in neutral and wait a few seconds then turn the ignition to the on position, the scan gauge does not register the miles I go therefor messing everything up?

Any other tips since your the master at the scan gauge would very helpful

Hi Scott:

___I just checked your confirmation and it was delivered. With that, the offsets are input automatically when you fill. The ScanGauge will show 11.1 gallons consumed, you than input what you filled (10.7, 11.3, 12.0 or whatever) and the offset is generated.

___Set you ScanGauge to Hybrid Mode in the Fuel section of the setup and FAS’s will be recorded properly.

So can I run my scan gauge in hybrid mode all the time will it work better. Also where do I look to find out what all the appr mean such as FAS ect.

Hello again I asked you some other questions before about increasing or decreasing the % when your filling up it's like one button takes it down in % and the other button takes it up %. Just for the heck of it i put mine at +4% what do you think?

Hi Scott,

You might want to go into the cleanMPG forums to get the detailed information you're looking for.

On the left side of the main screen (in the green bars with white lettering), select "Fuel Economy Forums". That will take you to a list of the different forums available. One of them is called "Modding and Hardware", and there is a sub-forum under it specifically for the Scan Gauge. The folks there are sure to give you excellent help on getting your gauge calibrated properly.

I finally got serious on hypermiling in my '05 prius (I was discouraged when I made the decision to sell the '04 Insight in favor of a second Prius). All I can say is "WOW" - using P&G and the backroads that allowed 80+mpg in the Insight, I'm working on a first tank that will probably be 66+mpg and would be 70+ if I had started earlier in the tank.

Looking forward to seeing how the SGII will help push it up further.

As for the 30-day guarantee, I am currently sitting on (3) brand new ScanGauges that were returned (one of those is currently in transit back to me) that I had to take $'s out of my own pocket because they were returned "just because" even though every feature and function works fine. ___This Group Buy #15 went into Linear Logic a few minutes before 12:00 Noon CST today. I am currently all out of ScanGauges myself so I filled this Group Buy with a few spare of my own to have on hand for those needing them immediately. I have also left messages with Ron at Linear about our current in process Group Buy status’. I know they are terribly busy right now but let us hope I get some more info before heading off to IN for the World FE Championships this afternoon.
