This morning, I encountered a driver that would definitely qualify as a jerk / moron. I took a sharp left turn from one street onto another (no stop light, just a left turn lane), and instantly had this SUV right on my bumper. I'm up to about 35 in a 40 at this point and slowly increasing up to 40, which I think is very reasonable.
Well apparently that just wasn't fast enough for this woman behind me. It's a one lane road on each side, and there's a short shared middle turn lane for a couple of businesses. She FLOORS it up to probably 55 and goes flying by me in the middle turn lane then cuts me off. She then got really close to the guy a little way ahead and got to his right... she was hoping to sneak by him on the right. I knew right away when she was going into that turn lane what she was doing, so I layed on the horn as she passed (like she even cared).
Needless to say, I ended up directly behind her at a stoplight probably 1/2 mile ahead, so I whipped out my cell phone and snapped a shot from the steering wheel (you can see my dash mounted SGII :D). Here you go -- behold stupidity! (I think the motocross stickers on the back say it all) I don't care what sort of rush she was in, driving that way cannot ever be justified.
