Everyone, want a surprise? Here it is. 26 MPG Hwy. EPA Rating
505 HP, Z06 Vette, Red Line 7200 RPM.

Now you read the {HWY MPG} below and see if you are not "Totally Blown Away".

Who says you can't have your {Cake & Eat it Too} :D Seeing is Believing and here are the Sedans and there EPA FE Ratings. So what do you think? Sedan or 505 HP Z06 Vette?
The only thing that is being pointed out here is that not many of the Public would ever in a MILLION YRS. think that the 505 HP Vette would get HWY. FE this close to these normal sized Sedans that every one drives. Interesting to me and thought I would share with the members here on www.CleanMPG.com (http://www.CleanMPG.com)

The 16mpg city rating is probably a little more representative of real-world general use. Car and Driver averaged 14mpg in their C6 ZO6 test car according to their July 2006 issue. Of course that was great compared to the 11mpg they got in the Ford GT500 Mustang in the same comparison test.

Naturally I'm a believer. My Vette "only" has about 350 hp and it gets 27 EPA highway and beating that in real life is super easy. I average 29 mpg in my Vette and have almost hit 40mpg on my best tank. It gets 29 "all day long" at 70mph with the AC on.

Aerodynamics and tall gearing are the Vette's only 2 mpg weapons.

I agree on all accounts here. I have owned alot of Vettes, including the really bad Boys with the Lotus Engines from mercury marine. Nice :)

And that's the Z06. The regular Vette gets 28 MPG highway! The same as my buddy's dinky Sentra SE-R except a LOT faster. To be fair, the Vette requires premium fuel.

The Vette does burn 93 Octane.

I owned one of the SE-R cars myself and I thought that it also took Premium Fuel for Performance.
